Tips for First Timers

  • Little nicks burn in the salt water. Don't shave right before floating.
  • Don't eat or drink a lot before coming, don't be hungry or thirsty either. A light meal about 60-90 mins before floating is ideal.
  • Come before or after a stressful event, don't wait for a "better time." You will just feel even better afterward.
What do I do?
Nothing. After you get in the tank, just be still and breathe.

What's it like?

Floating is like nothing else. In our cabin-style float tanks, you float better than you would in the Dead Sea! Zero gravity! The water & air in the pod are the same temperature as your skin, so you don't feel your body! Inside the float room is dark, if you choose to turn the lights out (recommended.) You can listen to music or have it completely quiet (we've done a lot of soundproofing.) It is so completely relaxing, you just have to try it.

Is this what Joe Rogan is always talking about?

YES! YES IT IS! Listen to him talk about it in the video below.

How can Epsom Salt help me?

(See also "Why Float")
  • Help prevent artery hardening and blood clots
  • Regulating activity of over 325 enzymes
  • Making insulin more effective
  • Reducing inflammation
  • Relieving muscle cramps
  • Improving oxygen utilization

What's a cabin?

Our American made cabins are 8ft long, 4ft wide, and 8ft tall. You can stand up in them.  In private rooms, our float cabins have a 36" wide door and large window. They each contain 850lbs Epsom Salt! Here's what they look like on the inside.

What's the big deal about Magnesium?

  • Most people are Magnesium deficient (about 95% of us)
  • Some functions your body needs magnesium for are:
         -digestion
         -energy production
         -muscle function
         -bone formation
         -creation of new cells
         -vitamin B activation
         -relaxation of muscles
  • Your body also needs magnesium to assist functioning of your:
         -heart
         -kidneys
         -adrenals
         -brain
         -nervous system

How can Sulfate help me too?

(Research shows that sulfate is not easily absorbed through the stomach, but through the skin.)
  • Flushes toxins
  • Improves absorption of nutrients
  • Help to form joint protein, brain tissue, and mucinous proteins
  • Help prevent and/or ease migraine headaches

What can I listen to?

Most people prefer nothing. We have some relaxing Zen music for meditation playing through underwater speakers. You choose and can turn it on or off throughout your float.

Who can float?

  • Anyone age 10 to 110
  • People with high blood pressure CAN float!! Our tanks contain MAGNESIUM sulfate (the kind we need), NOT sodium sulfate (the salt that raises blood pressure.)
  • Women in their 1st trimester can get a doctor's okay to float.

Will I freak out?

  • Probably not. If you do, open the door or turn the light on. You are in a private room with a door you can lock.  You can exit the cabin at any time.
  • You  can also leave the cabin door completely or partially open the entire time.
  • This is your experience you control, not us.
  • You will likely be surprised at how quickly you are able to relax.
  • Our float cabins are very large. The window and glass door make sure Claustrophobia is a non-issue.
