"After my first pro boxing match last weekend, needless to say I was sore and bruised and after the stress of fight week I needed to relax. I scheduled my first float at Therapods and the results were fantastic, although my body kept fighting off the letting go part, eventually I did. My hour and a half went by so fast, and I felt so fully rested, relieved, and most importantly relaxed, and it really helped with my soreness. Also, the owners/staff were very welcoming and friendly. I have floated at Therapods several times and all I can say is, "Perfect." I have done a lot of meditation often and in many forms. Floating hands down has the most immediate, deepest, longest lasting impact -physically and mentally. The float rooms are world class: clean, comfortable, and provide the desired sensory "deprivation" without feeling claustrophobic. I recently took a break because laying back with a head cold is never pleasant... however, it took a good float detox to get me 100% well again. On my first visit I met both Sally and Habib. They are friendly, professional and very welcoming! Sally does a great job of making you feel at home, offering great tips and insights while reinforcing the float is yours, to use as works best for you. Plan a few extra minutes in the chillax room when you're done before hopping back into the stress of driving. Go now and go often! - Lisa B.
